Duck Duck Diet Coke

I finally jumped on the bandwagon and attended Duck Beach over Memorial Day Weekend, and apparently I didn't stop drinking diet coke the whole time....maybe it was to take the edge off? Displayed is a selection of pics Amber took, in which I found that beloved can tightly gripped in my palm in nearly every picture. Is there such a thing as diet cokes anonymous?

Last night, Megan and I went to the Glow in the Dark tour, which turned out to be one of the best concerts I've ever been to with the worst crowd ever. Seriously! Could they pack any more drunk teenagers into a venue? We pretty much went for the opening acts (Lupe Fiasco, N.E.R.D., and Rihanna), but Kanye was unexpectedly amazing. In the words of Mr. West, “People always say that you can't please everybody. I think that's a cop-out. Why not attempt it? 'Cause think of all the people you will please if you try.” Oh, he tried, and we loved every second of it!

People put up their umbrellas during Rihanna's song, Umbrella. Unfortunately, she doesn't sing a song about rain coats, because that was all I had...

Then Kanye performed...talk about a one man show.

No back up dancers, no band, no posse. just kanye. and his spaceship "Jane"
So, Jane tells Kanye that he's the brightest star in all the universe and that he's the only one who can get us home (his spaceship crashed on an unknown planet where they oddly play Journey songs). This is when Kanye performs Stronger. Dude doesn't have a big ego, right?

Amber met up with us and that's when it got really wild!

But my favorite part was when Kanye sang Hey Mama. "Last night I saw you in my dreams, Now I can't wait to go to sleep. " so sad! Welp, Kanye has a new fan.

Viva Las Vegas

Due to my extreme procrastination when it comes to decision making, I am just now biting the bullet and choosing my location of higher learning after 1.5 years of indecisiveness: UNLV's William S. Boyd School of Law will be my home for the next three years! I am excited for the experience, but I am so sad to have to change my blog name...oh and to leave the east coast where my friends and family live....really, Megan, I am! Tat tat tat it up!
