With a fan like Kevin Schmidt. Not only did my dad leave a message for me after the big loss, pretty much consoling himself over the big loss with lines like "it's just a game," but he couldn't sleep because he was so upset...poor guy! So I thought I should dedicate this post to an e-mail I received from him today.
"First of all, let me express my condolences to each of your for the loss last night. We got beat, now let's get over it. Second, I have made reservations in Orlando for next year for the dates as follows: Check-in: Sunday, December 28, 2008Check-out: Sunday, January 4th, 2009We will have a three-room suite like we did the first year. I tried for a Friday or Saturday check in but there was nothing available(even in the separate apartment arrangement that we had this pastyear). Regardless, we will be watching the Patriots on the TV inOrlando next January. And remember, the pitchers and catchers report for Spring Training in12 days. We still have Ellsbury. Go Red Sox. Love you all,Dad"
